This range from Montetoro uses the Tempranillo grape, and after fermentation when the colour of the wine is very intense, it is oak aged in American oak for 12 to 14 months. Like Rioja, this gives the wine a fuller richer flavour with a soft fruity oak driven taste. Perfect for accompanying dark meats and strong cheeses, and normally reaches 14.5% ABV
